President Donald Trump said he would speak with Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Friday as US and Chinese officials reached a framework deal on keeping the TikTok app running in the US. The terms of the blueprint remain unclear, but a US official emphasized that some arrangement was crucial in order for Trump and Xi to have their first in-person meeting. Trump will make a second state visit to the UK this week, hosted by King Charles III at Windsor Castle, aimed at strengthening US-UK ties while avoiding tensions over trade and Palestine.
