We can expect some volatility, especially after Friday’s dollar sell-off on weaker-than-expected jobs data, which now has markets convinced Powell will cut rates, maybe even twice this year. The key focus this week will be Thursday’s US CPI release, which could strengthen that view if inflation softens, though there’s still a risk inflation comes in higher due to tariffs.
