Fed’s Miran Makes the Case for Rapid Interest-Rate Cuts

Federal Reserve Governor Stephen Miran said “now policy is more tight than people believe” as he explains the factors that have lowered the neutral rate. Miran said the Fed risks economic damage by not moving rapidly to lower interest rates.
