Fed’s Schmid Says Mortgage Applications Should Be Less Paperwork

Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City President Jeffrey Schmid, in response to a question about mortgage fraud allegations against Fed Governor Lisa Cook, says, “We have responsibilities as professionals inside the Federal Reserve. I’m sure she’ll handle matters that she needs to handle.”
