US PPI Muted in May, Recurring Jobless Claims Jump

US producer price inflation increased by less than forecast in May, as the producer price index rose 0.1% from a month earlier. Meanwhile, recurring applications for US unemployment benefits rose to 1.96 million in the week ended May 31, the highest since the end of 2021. Michael McKee reports on Bloomberg Television.
